Suigyokuryu is one of the Saijo O Wazamono Grade Swords Daito that is currently in the ownership of Roronoa Marimo. Its name comes from the distinctive emerald green hilt and tinge on the blade.
Appearance[]
The blade appears similar to many other katanas, though it has several differences. The most immediate, is the green-colored hilt and sheathe, with a dull-green colored guard. Even the blade itself is tinted green.
Abilities[]
The Suigyokuryu is truly a powerful blade, being strong enough to cleave an entire Grove of the Sabaody Archipelago neatly in half. Despite that, it appears nearly indestructable, as seen when it was able to completely shatter Dontou's blade when he and Marimo were fighting in midair. However, it also seems to a bit slippery, as Marimo finds himself constantly letting it slip out of his hands during battles for the early parts of the series. While he later corrects this, the blade is still prone to flying out of his hands when he slams it against another too hard (assuming that the other blade doesn't break).
