Claude D. Vearth (クロード・D・ヴァース Kuroodo Dī. Vāsu?), known and referred to more commonly as King Fisher (キﾝグ・フィシャ Kingu Fisha?), is a major character in Proud Line.
He is first mentioned during the West Blue Saga, referred to as the Beast of the Mountain (山の獣 Yama no Kemono?) due to his subjugation of all bandit groups in the West Blue area, as well as crushing any pirates that trespass upon his territory. He has since consolidated all of these groups (and others from neighboring seas) into an organization known as the Bandit's Summit, with him as their field marshal. They have since moved on to the Grand Line, aiming to accomplish his (and by extension, their) goal of restoring respect and dignity to the bandit occupation, even by toppling the fame and prestige of pirates and reversing the world order in that respect.
King Fisher has eaten a Devil Fruit, the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi.
